Affordable Black and White Halloween Costumes
I guess it’s Halloween costume week. Did you see my daughter’s DIY Zombie makeup for her soccer zombie costume? We had so much fun and it turned out pretty good. I thought I’d post about some more costumes.
Last year I shared my black and white Halloween front porch and on that porch, I also shared the Jack Skellington topiary that I made from my husband’s costume that he uses every year for trick or treat night. Below is a photo of it.

The reason I’m sharing this again is that I love buying costumes that come with a mask because you can use that mask for other purposes too when you decorate for Halloween and the masks aren’t in use.
Below are some cool men’s costumes, Jack Skellington included, and some of them come with a mask that could also be used for other things. Love the Frankenstein mask!!!
Ok, the prisoner is kind of ordinary but I still love it. How could I not, it’s black and white stripes.
Women’s costumes are always a lot harder for me to search for because I can’t stand all the sexy outfits. It just drives me crazy. Isn’t there anything normal for women to buy? Every character has to have a sexy version. I dislike it and I’d personally rather wear a men’s costume. How about you?
I did come up with some costumes for my daughter in the previous years that have a lot of black and white in them and can also be made for an adult.
- DIY Maleficent Costume
- Cheap and Easy Queen of Hearts Costume DIY
- Sugar Skull Costume DIY
- Easy and unique sad Harlequin costume
- Easy Dark Angel Costume and Make-up
I have to throw some pet costumes in here too. Just because I saw them when I searched for the other costumes.
And for a kid’s costume, I really love this gargoyle costume (HERE):
Yes, I love Halloween.
Have a wonderful weekend friends.

I just tried to talk Gus into the gargoyle, but he won’t go for it. So uncooperative! 😉
I always love your Halloween posts. I love all the dog costumes. So cute.
