  1. Julia you constantly amaze me with your willingness to do all this for the cats. Is there anything you can’t build? lol! What a smart and brave kitty to learn to climb up that ladder. I have three indoor kitties that are all older now, 11,14,17. My large backyard patio I had fenced in and a door made so they can have a safe place to lounge around and get fresh air. There is an area where they go to the bathroom so no litter boxes inside. I now have a feral male cat coming here twice a day to eat. The plan is when he is more comfortable with me and my son we will catch him and take him to the vet to be checked out and fixed. It breaks my heart the number of homeless animals out there so thank you to you and everyone else who tries to do what they can to help.

    1. Same to you Donna! Thank you for caring for your kitties and the ones around you. I agree it is heartbreaking how many there are all due to people being awful and irresponsible. Bless you and thank you for your kind words.

  2. thank you so so much for all that you do for Frank and Pixie.
You help to give them a better life, love and attention something we all need.
What goes around comes around, you deserve the best!
Thank you the world needs more of your kind of love. The cats will give it back as you know!

    Thank you for sharing…

    1. Thank you Amanda. It makes me happy seeing them do well and giving me their trust.

Hello! Thank you for loving Frank and the others! What a cutie he is! My suggestion is to secure an inexpensive outdoor carpet on the roof to protect their feet from the heat in summer. Or a thick rubber matt called a “horse mat” would work well too. Thanks.

    1. Thanks so much for the suggestion, Iwona. I’ll definitely look into that to protect his paws. We love our chunky Frank!

  4. Put down a runner of some fabric or non heat conducting material (I’d use something like outdoor rug material that he can also grip with his claws for anti slip) to address the hot roof problem

    1. Laurie that’s a great idea, thanks!
