I spend a lot of time on Instagram and while browsing my feed, I have been increasingly getting ads about summer tunic dresses. Many times I have clicked over to the shopping sites only to notice that I was on one of the thousands of cheap Chinese knock-off sites. I don’t know if you remembered when I got sucked into buying from one of them last summer and warned my email subscribers about them and not to buy from them.
Lately, there was an image of one of those dresses that I couldn’t let go of because I loved it so much and I just wanted to find who the original designer source was. All those fashion images have been stolen on those sites and are not representing what you are actually going to receive in the mail. It irritates me so much! Especially the fact that they all get away with it while Instagram remains so strict with everything we regular folks post about but since those sites pay for their posts, many eyes are looking the other way and let them. I started to report those ads because they annoy me so much.
So let’s get back to the dress that I love so much and where I was on a mission to find the original designer.

I feel like the original idea for the dresses I am after is from the Greek design label “Devotion” which I’m showing off below. I’m obsessed with all their clothes.
I tried to find sites that sell their beautiful summer tunic dresses here in the US and have so far only found two that have limited stock. One of them is a small boutique in Santa Barbara which you can see HERE. The other one is Anthropologie.
Below I’m wearing some of these dresses…
I have spent extensive time online trying to find alternatives to the original expensive Greek summer tunic dresses. Remember, I’m going to Germany soon? I know they are selling some nicer knock-offs in Europe. One of them is from the German label located in Hamburg called “Flowers For Friends” which you can see below:
I also ordered the below dress and love it so much. It is the most comfortable fabric and I love having pockets. You can find it only in solid now (HERE).
The below Greek boutique sells a bunch of beautifully patterned dresses and I especially love the KORI printed dresses that you can see below. (HERE).
Love the below aztec print version in lavender but it is sold out now. Sorry!
And now we are getting into Russian territory with Ukrainian Vyshyvanka embroidered linen tunic dresses and I found a shop on Etsy that handmakes the most amazing tunic dresses. Yes, they are also a little more pricey but totally unique and worth it since they are handmade. I think they are all comfy showstoppers. The below dress is one of my favorites but there are about 200 more that I love. I’m not kidding. (Below dress HERE)
A blue and red embroidered tunic dress from the same shop:
Another one of my favorites below (HERE) and you can pick the color combination that you want. How cool is that?!?
Another beautifully greek embroidered and handmade linen tunic dress from Etsy below:
Also found the beautiful below tunic dress with a lot of pretty tassels and you can find it HERE.
Or a tunic dress with pom-poms (HERE)
Update! Below are some more tunic dresses I found!
I know that not every one likes wearing short tunic dresses like I do, so I also found two long ones that I love. I definitely like covering my arms and they all do that.
I have learned that splurging a bit on these dresses is well worth it because the quality is just so much better than buying them from cheap retailers.
I wear the following shoes with the above tunic dresses. They are all super comfy!

I love covering up my arms and showing off my legs, so these dresses are the perfect outfits for me.
