My Favorite Casual Summer Maxi Dresses

In my last post, I showed you guys my favorite tired mini dresses and summer tunic dresses and within those posts, I also shared two of my favorite casual summer maxi dresses. According to my analytics (yes I occasionally check those things) everyone really cared about the long dresses. So I thought I should maybe dedicate a post just for them and those of you who like to cover up. I actually do have several cute maxi dresses as well and tend to wear them more often in spring and fall.

My mom who is now 81 loves wearing dresses like this as well and has several that are close to number 3 below with the quarter length sleeves.

For me, maxi dresses with pockets are a major plus like I said in my last post but they tend to be hard to find. I own two and love them. Free People dress #8 has pockets and I love it. If you look at the reviews on their site, there’s a photo of me wearing the dress. Also, THIS one that I have and mentioned in my last post also has pockets.

I also love flowy maxi dresses or kimono-style maxi dresses because their arms aren’t tight. Who doesn’t like airflow under the arms, am I right?

You might also be wondering what I wear under the dresses that have a deep v-neck like #7 and #8? I wear my favorite bralettes. I actually wear nothing else because I hate regular bras with cups and metal wires. Don’t even get me started. My recent favorite bralettes I bought are THIS and THIS one. I wear the second one every day. It’s like not wearing a bra. So so good!
