When vacation time approaches, I love browsing for some cute outfits and accessories to buy. I don’t have a big budget throughout the year for fashion but the summer is definitely the time I like to buy myself some things here and there.

Most of you know how much I love to shop on Etsy. I have a shop and love supporting others who do as well. I love the global community of small business owners on that amazing platform.

Fashionable Fair Trade Trade Items

I was looking for another alternative the other day to wearing comfy sweatpants. Something more fun and stylish but just as comfy and I found a Thai shop that sells different skirts and pants. And I ordered myself the below pants (click HERE). I hope they will get here in time for vacation, it obviously takes a lot longer to get shipped here from Thailand. Aren’t they fun? And I have no doubt about their comfort. I will be wearing the pants with a really short and formfitting t-shirt.

Thai clothing and accessories

I specifically picked them because they have a rubber band and the bottom (click HERE). They have many different styles, colors and patterns.

At $12.99 they are definitely affordable!

I also love these wide leg pants below and my mom really loved this black and white skirt HERE.

Pretty much everything they sell is under $20!

After finding those pants, I fell into a big Etsy rabbit hole because I found Thai shops who make amazing colorful clutches, bags and purses which I’m so so excited to share.

Or unique pillows like the one below (click HERE):

The embroidery details re absolutely amazing!

One little shop especially captured my heart because of their designs and their story. I love checking out a shop’s background and the story they have to tell. Check them out on Instagram HERE and the cute video they made about their family and business at the end of the slide show at the bottom of the page HERE. I mean how could you not love them? I’m in awe of Narissara’s unique bag designs and the best part is that every piece is one of a kind.  They are not pieces that people will recognize from a large chain store. You will never get an “oh hey I have the same one…”!

I think the below bag is my absolute favorite out of all of them. It’s just so different! (click HERE). Narissara is also modeling all her own creations.

Do I even need to mention how gorgeous the below colorful pompom clutch is? (click HERE). Just look at it!

Some of the bag patterns are Hmong. Do you remember my attempt at making Hmong tassels? I still love that project and you can see it HERE:

Afghan silver jewelry

And I didn’t stop there because a photo of an Afghan cuff bracelet popped up in my Etsy feed. The variety of Afghan bracelets! Gosh, how I love them and I remember buying one at an artisan market with my mom when I was a teenager in Germany. I have always had a thing for big statement rings and bracelets.

And of course they are all also one of a kind.

The below lapis lazuli stone cuff bracelets (click HERE) match a ring that I have from my mom. I’m itching to move them to my shopping cart.

Turquoise jewelry has always been on the top of my list and I have collected some amazing pieces. I wish the below pieces were part of that collection. I might just have to put them in my shopping cart. (click HERE)

They are affordable and so so pretty.

Speaking of affordable, the next one is not!!! You will slap me for this one because it’s over $1000 (click HERE)! Yikes! But isn’t it stunning? I just had to throw that one in there because it’s my favorite. Go figure!
