Natural Modern Fall Decor for Blogger Stylin Home Tours
Hello to everyone coming from Melissa’s of The Inspired Room. I love having new people around. Have you enjoyed the tours so far? And thanks so much to Lindsay of The White Buffalo Styling Co. for including me in this years’ tours again. Make sure to start all the tours on her blog by clicking HERE. If you aren’t new around here then I’ve got lots of explaining to do today I think. You guys are probably, “wait a minute, didn’t she just do a Fall tour 2 weeks ago and didn’t she say she doesn’t really care about fall decorating?” and you guys are totally correct. (click HERE to see the other fall tour) So let me just say that I was going to decorate my porch and our bedroom for fall yet for this edition of fall tours but then I kind of like my bedroom the way it is and my kids want Halloween stuff on the porch. And after my doctor’s appointment on Tuesday I took the opportunity to stop into Goodwill because it was almost right next to the doctor and this is where things started falling into place. If you follow me on Instagram then you probably saw already what I bought in my Instagram stories. I found this huge brass flower pot and two small handmade woven jeans rugs for $4 (THIS is a similar one on Etsy for a lot more). I was so thrilled about that. Fall is about wearing your favorite pair of jeans again, isn’t it? I just wore mine for the first time to a picnic on Saturday. The chill is finally in the air. And I told you guys about my plant dilemma in the corner of the living room. My beloved bird or paradise had gotten to big for the corner over the summer and needed to be moved somewhere else. I still can’t make up my mind where to though yet. It’s just so so big. Anyways, when I found that pot, I knew it would be perfect for that corner combined with another palm that I had on my front porch. The jeans rugs would make the perfect pillows, especially with the fringe trim I had bought on Etsy (click HERE) and used around the white flower pot in my first fall tour. I will post about the pillows separate yet and how I made them. I found these woven jeans pillows HERE and HERE which are pretty similar but minus the fringe but you could add that. To top things off I found some cool weeds at soccer practice, some herbs in our yard and yellow little flowers at the store and now I’m ready for fall and loving it. So do you understand why I changed it all again 😉 ? I know I’m crazy!

I found the pretty grey-blue shell at the beach on Labor Day. It’s the simple little details that I love.
The beaded garland was from Pottery Barn but isn’t available anymore. I get asked about it all the time. Check out this jumbo beaded garland on Etsy for a similar look HERE | rug HERE | similar coffee table HERE and HERE | very similar pillow HERE | similar drum HERE similar mirror HERE and star burst HERE | disco ball HERE | wall color is Seashell Grey by Valspar

And if you are wondering about my curtains here is my amateur movie attempt at showing you how to make them or you can click over to the post HERE to see the tutorial:
Or you can read my post HERE about where to buy a similar looking fabric.
The painting in the dining room has some controversy and a story but I’ll get to that some other time.
And I totally only slapped a pumpkin on the table. Right after I took the photos my husband took it and made calabaza squash gnocchi.

The painting has really great texture which you can’t see in the photos:
I bought my chandelier HERE on Etsy but you can also find very similar chandeliers HERE, HERE and HERE. And I know the last one’s price is ridiculous.
I found this one HERE for $250 which isn’t bad but it’s smaller.
In case you missed my tassel tutorial you can click HERE to see them. I made them from our old sofa.
Find the custom plates HERE on Etsy.
And if you are new around here or missed it, I made a wood bead pendant for our kitchen too.
Click HERE to see the tutorial.
Or you can buy similar handmade pendants HERE, HERE and HERE on Etsy.
And thanks to Gordmans I got to stock up on a bunch of my favorite candles to spread around the house. I always love a good source for affordable candles.

I’m glad I changed it up again in the living room and hope you enjoyed the tour.
Tomorrow the tours continue with my friend Sarah at Life On Virginia Street, so make sure you stop back and continue.
