Rose Quartz or Blush Living Room Moodboard
Oh yes, I did say I was going to probably only post twice a week but this post today was something I already had. It was a fun thing I did for a friend. And I thought I’d share it here too. I also mentioned that I’d love to pick up more mood board eDesigns again. I had taken that feature off my site because it had become a hassle. Creating those isn’t always fun, especially when you don’t have the same design philosophy as the person you are creating it for and then you end up spending way more time on the project than you originally anticipated.
In this case, though it was a ton of fun since it started with a conversation about a sofa obsession (in this case this one HERE) and how I would decorate around it should my friend have the courage to buy it. It also happens to be one of the Pantone colors of the year 2016 – Rose Quartz.

It’s so me! I had so much fun with this and it makes me want to throw out everything but of course, I won’t. I’m just kidding.
Also, check out my boho eclectic blush living room moodboard.
And that’s it for today.
Short and sweet but it certainly does make me want to create more mood boards.

Really pretty. Scott has been very patient and accepting of my liberal splashing of pink around the house but I have a feeling he would balk at a pink sofa 😉 It sure looks awesome how you styled it here though!!
oh i love that little ottoman!!! so fun!
Isn’t it the best!? Oh where could I put one ?
A very pretty room. You did a great job working with a piece that could lead to a room that would be too feminine. I especially like the mirror and coffee table.

You are fearless in your mix/matching and I adore it. Love the board.
So fun Julia. I love the black & white spotted rug with the sweet & girly pink.
Love the Moroccan pillow! Do you create your mood boards in Photoshop?
That couch! It’s a beauty. I especially love the fringe foot stool you paired it with, what a cutie.
I could move right in! 🙂
Me too! It was so much fun to make and thanks
pretty!! 🙂
Thanks Sarah, hope you are doing good! Happy New Year
I am LOVING the rose quartz!!!
Me too. I wish I’d have to buy the extra $$$ to buy a sofa like this 😉
I hope your friend bought that sofa, it’s so pretty! I can’t help but think the coffee table looks similar to my vintage nesting tables! Love it 😀
As of now she didn’t 😉
I had fallen in love with rose gold last fall and was drooling over a kitchen faucet, and now I find that it is one of Pantones colors of the year. I am gearing up for a kitchen remodel and wondering if I really can incorporate it in, or if I should go with brass, which I typically don’t especially like but its much more common and available and reasonable prices. Ilove this coffee table and just might have to do a smalll little update to my living room to fit this in.
I’ve never seen a rose gold faucet. I’m sure that would be very pretty.
ooh, that sofa is so pretty! It kind of makes me want more pink in my house. More than…none that is 😉
Haha Gretchen, maybe just a little bit of pink.
I see, so Rose Quartz for this year. Thanks! Thinking of a redesign this weekend. 😀
There are two colors this year actually. Rose quartz and Serenity. Always just a renaming of old colors 😉
Oh I love everything!! That sofa is gorgeous (no, Wayne would never let me have a pink sofa!) and the ottoman – yum! So gorgeous… (sigh) xxx
I want an ottoman/stool like that in the worst way. Just bigger though.
https://www.dornbracht.com/en-us/products/kitchen/cyprum/. This is what started my love of the rose gold in the kitchen, but I don’t know whether I can take the plunge. Although I don’t really use the spray attachment on our kitchen faucet, I don’t know if I can do without it. And I have been told by a designer that this is a “cold” metal, as opposed to brass, so I don’t know if it will add a nice warmth element to my kitchen. Ugh! Too much to think about.
Oh my gosh that’s gorgeous.
This room is lovely and that sofa is spectacular!
I’d love that sofa! My hubby not that much 🙂
Can I get a woman cave with that sofa?? Geez it’s gorgeous!! Love the entire design! It’s so pretty it makes me want to create a moodboard!!
Oh I want a woman cave with that sofa too. Men! Why can’t they just like this too?
