jeans gift wrapping idea
I know I’m overdoing it with the denim lately but I just can’t stop. I love the way I wrapped some gifts and definitely had write a post about it whether it’s denim overload or not.
When I found glitter denim wrapping paper at Target I know I had to buy it and use it (click HERE).
And I also still have a lot of old jeans left over from my recent closet purge. All I did was cut and rip strips from them. When you rip them instead of cutting all the way, you get the nice short frayed edges like you can see in the below photo.
Or if you don’t have jeans or don’t like the look then you can just buy the following ribbon too. The color and gold edge is perfect (click HERE).
On top of it I found the following pretty ornaments at Kmart (who is killing it this year with Christmas decor) but of course they are already sold out online. They went so so quick. You can head on over to your local store to see if they have some left or just check out these ones HERE because they are pretty too.
In the summer I found a rose denim pin in my mom’s closet which she didn’t want anymore and she gave it to me. You can make one too, there are so many tutorials online or you can just buy one which would be my choice because it looks like they are a pain in the rear to make. $7 for a handmade one HERE from Etsy isn’t bad.
And then get to wrapping your present. This paper isn’t easily taped because of the glitter though. I just made sure I tied the jeans straps tight enough so the tape wasn’t even necessary.

Add one or two pretty Christmas balls and the rose to the top and you are done.
I love it! Putting some extra time in to wrap a present in style is so worth it.
And of course I had to get THIS below box at Target too and some more matching paper. That box is a keeper!
So what do you guys think of my gift wrapping idea? Have a Happy Cyber Monday 😉
