Friday Favorites: Ikea Finds
Hey guys, I haven’t been to Ikea in a very long time but finally decided to go because I needed some things for my son’s room.
I love exploring the entire place and seeing what they have new.
My absolute favorite things I saw was their new rattan chair (click HERE). Remember when I said I’ve had a big rattan obsession again lately? And their chair is super comfy too. I didn’t buy it though because I needed other things.
Speaking of rattan or in this next case I should say cane I guess. I love this table but wouldn’t want it as a coffee table which is what it’s supposed to be. I could picture this table as a bench at the foot of a lower bed. (click HERE)
I picked up some Sanela curtains again but this time in dark green. They will go into my son’s room. Remember I made my daughter’s bed out of the turquoise Sanela panels. (click HERE to see the tutorial)
I’m contemplating getting this inspirational quote for my son because it reminds me of a saying in Germany “Was Du heat kannst besorgen, das verschiebe nicht auf morgen” (Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today). I tell him and my husband that all the time but I think it annoys more than is being helpful 🙂 (click HERE)
I picked up this little GLADOM end table (HERE) for my son’s room. I love the yellow but it’s not the right yellow. So I bought it in white and might paint it. It reminds me of the Target tray table but at $29 it has a much better price.
I love Ikea and if you new here you should check out my post (HERE) about how I decorate with Ikea. Oh and I’m not affiliated with them, I just really love Ikea.
And I had to bring these little cacti home. Love them! (click HERE)
Look how nice they look on my tray but I could picture them in a bathroom too:
{find the pineapple candle HERE, similar tray HERE and horse planter HERE and yes those are still faux succulents}
Have you seen anything at Ikea lately that you love?
So now I’m off to paint again. My son’s room is getting painted from top to bottom.
Tschüß,
ooooh i was thinking possibly a dark green for the nursery and i have a closet that needs curtains- might have to get those!
Those cacti against the succulents…..so good!
I need to make a trip to Ikea-haven’t been in months! Love the cacti!
Love the cacti, and the idea of using this table as bench – next time I go to Ikea I will check it out.
oh, that little rattan chair is awesome! And it might be exactly what I need for my porch….hmm….
