Pink and gold Christmas tree home tour
This is my favorite time of the year for home tours and this year I focused on pink and gold Christmas tree decor for several trees.
The Blogger Stylin’ Christmas Home Tours hosted by Lindsay of The White Buffalo Styling Co. are always so lovely to see. Everyone puts so much work into every single detail and it gets me into the mood for Christmas. And I’m wishing a warm welcome to all the new visitors coming from Kristin’s Hunted Interior today. She is one of my all-time favorite bloggers because she never disappoints with anything she does.
Last year I went with a very colorful look (click HERE to see) and I was ready for a change this year which is why I toned it down a lot without losing all of the colors. I layered our new Beni O (THIS rug looks similar) on top of the existing area rug for a cozy look.
I hope you enjoy my tour.

I love the dreamy look from the kitchen into the living room where you can see not just one Pink and gold Christmas tree but two.
{similar downloadable art HERE or HERE and my tutorial HERE}
I always dreamt of a flocked Christmas tree and this year I finally have one.
It’s so pretty that when my neighbor came over, he went straight home and ordered one for their home too. Â It looks so much like real snow.
My kids didn’t want a fake tree but when they came home from school they were thrilled to see what it looked like. My daughter said it looked like we lived in Narnia which is a pretty good thing in my book too.
I also used the same stars as last year because they were so cheap to make and make such a big impact and they will appear in my decor every year. Click HERE to see the tutorial. Or you could just buy these paper mache stars (HERE) and spray paint them gold with the same paint I used (HERE). Or I love these gold stars HERE.

Our small pink and gold Christmas tree
If you want to know where my new curtain came from in case you are new around here, then you can click HERE to see my full tutorial or the video below. I made them myself from Ikea Merete curtains.
Do you guys remember that I managed to kill the real succulents I had for my fall arrangement in the horse bowl (Click HERE to see the post)? For this tour I made a faux arrangement and I’m so loving the look. No fear of killing anything this time around! And Jonathan Adler has the horse back on his site. Click HERE to see it.

Our large pink and gold Christmas tree
For the tree topper I simply used the paper lantern that I used for my patio cabana makeover (click HERE to see the post) this passed spring. They are super affordable and so versatile. You can find one HERE.
And in case you are new around here, the crosses in the hallway are handmade by me with wall vinyl and I sell them in my Etsy shop HERE.
Here is my little Lilly cat licking some whipped cream. She loves it and yes I do know it’s not good for her.
I kept the fireplace very similar to last year just because I love it so much. In case you are wondering how I cleverly hid the cables on the mantel, then you can click HERE to see my post about it.
Every year our German Christmas Pyramid comes out. The kids love it so much. You can find the exact same one HERE and a smaller one HERE.
And I love how our living room looks now when it is almost dark outside:
I will be sharing my dining room next week for another home tour series hosted by Jen of Migonis Home. The dining room isn’t done yet because I’m getting a new chandelier (Remember that I bought THIS urchin recently?) and hoping it will be installed by then. Keeping my fingers crossed. I’m so so excited about it.
This following photo was my dining room last year and you can click over to see the full tour HERE. As you can see I used carnations last year already but toned it down a ton. It was so so much more colorful.
And after these tours, I get a lot of questions where I bought what. I tried to mention most of it above but also put together the photo below where you can click on the crosses to find out where things are from. If the same item isn’t available anymore then I tried to find something similar for you.
So now please don’t forget to head on over to the next person in line for today’s blog hop which is one of my blogging besties Jennifer of The Chronicles of Home.

xo Michael
Thanks so so much for the visit and sweet words Michael. I can’t wait to see your tour. It’s always one of my favorites and not only because of your fabulous decor but also because of your sweet kitties.
I love seeing your home all decked out for the holidays. The white backdrop with all the color pops makes me smile. I adore your chandelier. So pretty. XO
Thanks Diane! Hope you are doing good
Just beautiful, Julia!! I love how you changed it up this year – your new tree is gorgeous and all the white and black with gold all adds up to such a fun modern Christmas. You style a room so well!! Hope you and your family are enjoying your festive home!
Thank you Lisa. Happy Holidays to you.
Love the metallics! It’s all gorgeous!
Thanks Claire
Holy gorgeousness! Seriously, I adore that flocked tree and the more neutral palette!
That tree is everything and then some 😉 I’m totally obsessed!
Julia– your home is like party. That I want to go to for Christmas and New Years. So much glam! I LOVE the pink and gold and green theme! I ordered a pair of gold sequin leggings and I feel like I want to wear those pants and hang out in your house. Deal? 😉
Sounds like a deal! Totally would wear my pleather leggins and we have a party 😉 I’d love that. And thanks so much!
Beautiful, Julia!! I love your German Christmas Pyramid 🙂 We used to have one as kids, but I think my dad got rid of it in one of his purging moods…So sad! I’m obsessed with your pattern layering, too.
Oooooh nooooooo he didn’t!!! That is heartbreaking! Sometimes hoarding stuff is worth it. And thanks so much!
Everything looks so pretty, I just love your mantle and tree filled with pretty gold Christmas stars!!
Thanks Katrina, the stars just had to make a second appearance and I have a feeling they’ll be back next year 😉
GAHHHH!! It’s utterly FABULOUS. I love how you, Kirstin and I all went for the same palette of black/white and gold. It’s just so classic, right?! 😉 I adore your flocked tree (I have one too and as soon as I got it I fell totally and helplessly in love) and those big stars are just amazing. Love it all. xxx
Thank you! Everyone coming into my house is obsessed with the tree. I always love black and white but after this summer, toning down the color and making the curtains it just continued 😉
I loved it all. Your home looks so beautiful and inviting.
Thanks so much
Gorgeous as usual! I love your flocked tree!
Thanks so much for the visit Chelsea!
You know I’m a neutral gal and I love the direction your home went this year, your Christmas design was just gorgeous!!!! You are so talented my friend!!
Thanks so much my friend!
I’m just loving all the flocked trees I’m seeing this year….maybe next year will be my year! Everything looks wonderful….I’ve always been a big fan of those stars 🙂
I’m so glad I got one this year Gretchen and you should get one too next year. Thank you!
Julia, I love your neutral tour with pops of pink! So textured and pretty!!!
Thank you Lindsay and thanks so much for including me again this year
Your home is stunning! I love all the black, white, and gold you used and how you incorporated accents of pink!
Thanks so much for the visit and kind words Julie. It made my day! Happy Holidays
Your home is so gorgeous, Julia! I love your flocked tree and that amazing tree topper. Hope you and your family have a happy holiday! 🙂
Thanks so much Caitlin, I love my tree. My holidays would be perfect if my youngest cat would get healthy again but I just found out she has kidney failure which is putting a huge damper on our holidays. It’s so sad.
Just discovered you. Stunningly beautiful and wish I could snap my fingers to recreate. Love the silver mirror and would love source. Couldn’t get the picture you referenced with sources
Thanks so much Jan, I’m glad you like it. And thanks for letting me know the image didn’t work. I think I fixed it, it works on my screen now. My starburst that I layered over the mirror is actually a vintage Curtis Jere burst I found at an auction but I found something similar that I linked to in the image. I hope it works again. And I found a similar mirror to mine (which is an old American Signature Furniture Mirror) at Target
Absolutely gorgeous Julia! The garland on your chandy will always be one of my favorite Christmas images! Love your tree too!
Love how your trees mimic each other from across the room, Julia! And those big stars are fantastic!
Omg Julia!! This is just stunning, my friend. That tree is AMAZING! And it totally looks like it belongs in Narnia. All the details are just fabulous friend:)
Oh wow – so warm and beautiful. I love how super neutral everything is this year but those pops of black and pale colors infuse everything with so much chic! Gorgeous decorating and photography, as usual!
Julia! This is absolutely gorgeous! I love all the shines and sparkle! Amazing images, too;-)
Your home looks absolutely beautiful and so festive.
Precious little Lilly getting her sugar on – she has a sweet tooth like me.
I’m loving the more toned down look! So stunning.

So fabulous as always! I’m in love with your palette (those soft pops of pink with the green!) and your flocked tree, and the little tree in the corner with the giant stars and ornaments! Love it all. Oh! And disco balls!! I need the gold one! Seriously BEAUTIFUL!
Thank you Jenn. I think everyone could use a disco ball 😉 Have a great weekend.
Oh wow, Julia! Your tree is stunning, and you decorated it beautifully! Love the pretty elegant feel, but still warm and comfortable! You know I love seeing your sweet fur babies, too!
Thanks Pam and I’m trying to spoil my Monkey cat rotten these days as her kidneys are failing and she is getting weaker every day. It breaks my heart.
I love it Julia! The neutrals + black and white are such a calming take on Christmas decorating! And that tree is amazingly realistic – I love my all-white tree, but that flocked one might be calling my name too! I might need to add a third tree in our next home next Christmas!
Yes yes, you have to add a third tree 🙂 And thanks so much
Absolutely gorgeous Julia!! I love your colour scheme this year and all your beautiful metallic touches. Absolutely so cozy with the stunning tree!!
Thanks Krista
So bright and festive! Love all the bold black and white prints, and seriously dying over your rugs and throws – perfect!
Thanks Arielle and thank you for the visit.
Wow, your home is absolutely beautiful! I love all of the details…the starburst mirror, the succulents, the color scheme. And that tree is a stunner!! 🙂
Thanks so so much Julie and Happy Holidays.
I would buy the 72″ Cat Tree by Go Pet Club in black If I win the Wayfair giveaway.
Such a gorgeous home tour, Julia. I love the flocked tree – and all the gold and black and white are so classy and elegant. Also, loving the touch of green – unexpected.
Thanks so much Kim
