I have been working like crazy behind the scenes (click HERE to see the follow up post and what I did) to finish my upholstery project and today I want to reveal the outcome.

I was generously provided with the fabric by OnlineFabricStore.net and all my opinions are 100% my own. I think the photos speak for themselves πŸ™‚

I picked an ivory microfiber for this makeover. Click HERE to see it. And I totally made the right choice.

(The bedroom changed again since this post. Click HERE to see it!)

I’ve decided to split the project into two posts. One (this one) with pretty pictures and the next one with the behind the scene and not so pretty pictures. I’ve actually lost some of the disassembly photos but I’ll get into that in my next post.
If you’ve been following me on Instagram then you have seen some of the sneak peeks already.

If you aren’t a DIYer like me then you can shop for a similar button-tufted look in the below slide:

I haven’t shared these big brass retro deer with you yet either which I found on Craigslist.
And I’m totally in love!
And what would this post be without a before picture, right?

I still love that zebra rug but it is falling apart and needs some fixing. Well lets say that i hope it can be fixed πŸ˜‰
And for full disclosure here, I cheated on the seating cushion but I will get into that next time.
All in all I’m really happy with my new chaise but my back isn’t at all. Thank heavens for my chiropractor appointment on Friday.
The bedroom has since changed again (click HERE to see new photos)

And I’m not done with the bedroom yet. There are more changes to come…hint hint!
(Click HERE to see the upholstery follow up post)

    Hi Julia!

I love your bedroom furniture! May I ask where you found your bed headboard/frame and chaise? Who are the manufacturers of the pieces?

    • Julia says

      February 23, 2015 at 9:12 pm

Hi Kate, I have no clue where the chaise is from because I bought it about 15 years ago from a friend but the bed is Magnussen Furniture. No sure if they still sell it but they do have a website. Hope that helps.
