My love for Würzburg
Alrighty, I have another Germany post! Obviously not working on anything right now and today I will talk more about my favorite German city, Würzburg! I attended school in Würzburg, had my first (most favorite) job and loved the night live which was definitely to my parents dismay…but I had so much fun and I will never forget it. Würzburg will forever have a spot in my heart and I have to visit more than once during my trip. Hey, and shopping isn’t bad either which helps.
On our second visit we started with a trip up to the Marienberg Festung another one of my kids favorite castles and we have to see it every time. I’m so glad they have the same taste as me.
The huge furniture store (XXXL Neubert) that I used to work at as a visual merchandiser. It’s gotten even bigger! It was fun browsing their inventory (and if you follow me on Instagram then you saw the photos of the copper fixtures I spotted, drool!) and I love thinking back of a fun job that is similar to designing the Ikea rooms, BUT there are so many versatile styles that are different from Ikea. It was the funnest job I ever had for sure and I think back with fond memories.

So gorgeous. The details on those buildings – to die for! I can see why you would want to live there…though I think I might implode from overstimulation!
i never get sick of these posts- so much eye candy! i just wish i could see it in person!

Absolutely beautiful and magnificent pics. What gorgeous weather you have, too.
Thank you!
Oh this post hits home. It’s been seven years since I’ve been back—by far the longest stretch yet. The castle, the church and the Residenz are always on my list of places to go. There’s also this little art shop in town that I like to check out for Wurzburg prints.
What a beautiful place Julia! That sounds like the best job too!
beautiful photos! its like from a movie or something- so perfect!
I enjoy going on these little journeys with you even if its only through beautiful photographs. I plan on sharing your trip from last year to Aschaffenburg Germany with my sister who was born there but doesn’t remember it.
