Todays post is about my stay at Delta Faucet Company. If you are following me on Instagram then you have seen sneak peeks along the way already. I want to share some more photos and details today for everyone else.
When I was contacted by Delta Faucet Company to see if I wanted to attend their exclusive influencer blogging event I was apprehensive! Honest truth! I know people say they jump on it right away but I worry about my kiddos, traveling is expensive and honestly what could be said about faucets and bathroom fixtures for two days? And then they told me it’s an all inclusive event!?! Say what? Really?
What’s the catch LOL?
Well, no catch and I’m so so so glad I went. As a matter of fact I want to work for them if I ever lose my pretend blogging job.
Here is a group shot of all the amazing bloggers that went. It was taken right after we got a standing ovation upon arrival. Yikes, I was so embarrassed.
One of the best things was that I got to hang out with that incredible group of bloggers!
It was so amazing to hear about everything that goes into creating their product. From research, to design inspirations and production.
They even go as far as doing a bathroom study where they filmed people in the shower for a month and I began to wonder if that was the catch, was the waiver we signed during the first night’s reception/happy hour an agreement to film me in the shower at the hotel? Had I had drank too much wine and didn’t notice what I signed? After all I received a handicapped room with a chair in the shower and rails everywhere? Was that it?
Phew that wasn’t it, I was so glad to hear that.
I have found some faucet favorites amongst their Delta and Brizo designs.
Check out this beauty from their Brizo line:
And I’m also really obsessed with their matte black finish. So gorgeous! Totally perfect for a sexy guys bathroom. Stop, stop stop…! See what the matte black does to me? Did I just say sexy in my post? Ugh matte black makes me think of my favorite Harleys and Jax Teller…stop it Julia, just move on it’s only a faucet 😉
Amazing shower heads:
And my favorite champagne bronze Touch 2 O® Technology
Or this amazing Jason Wu faucet who created the Oden collection:
And this cute little faucet with a dial on the top for temperature control:
Haha, Jennifer you are the best and photograph so well:
Diane busy on her social media:

An amazing lunch tent:

One of my favorite things was hearing Delta’s head designer Judd talk about what goes into their designs and how they get their inspiration. So interesting!
Then we toured their secret area with all their pro to types. Amazing!
Here he is in a group shot with us:
I team up with Carrie from Dream Green DIY (love love love her by the way) to install a touch faucet and a toilet!
Here she is looking at the instructions. We both agreed that illustrated instructions were the easiest. It was a breeze to install.
Here I am:
I was so obsessed with this screw driver. Oh the little things that make a DIYer happy:
Gabbi and Kristin finishing their install:
Here I’m screwing the toilet lid mount in place:
And tada, Carrie and I have installed a toilet. It really was very very easy and may I say fun?
They have so much amazing technology in their products and I scribbled down three pages worth of info but now I barely used any of it in my post. Why? Well, I felt like gushing about the event and I’m sure if I would have started blurting out all the technical terms you’d been less than thrilled.
I want to work for them, haha. When we came back inside from our lunch in the tent I asked Judd the designer why everyone walked around in gym clothing and he said we offer all kinds of exercise classes during lunch. Can you believe they were having an outdoor spinning class. Say what? Totally cool.
I could go on for hours now but this is it for today. One thing I know is that this won’t be my last post about Delta Faucet Company for sure 😉
Oh one more thing, I had trouble with my connecting flights and the airline told me that I would probably miss my flight and would have to stay the night in Detroit which I didn’t want of course. So I asked them if they could get me to the other terminal in those critical 20 minutes with one of those fast golf cart thingys upon arrival. It’s common at Newark, JFK and Philly. Guess what was waiting for me at the gate when I got off the plane? A freakin wheelchair with a huge name tag with my name on it! I almost peed my pants. What’s wrong with people. Really? I wish I would have taken a picture of it. So funny.
Anyways, talk to you on Friday.
Tschüß

that looks like so much fun!!!! wish i was there! we need a new toilet, so why don’t you come over and install it since you are a pro now? 😉
LOVED your recap, Julia!! I am so glad that we got to meet in person and that we partnered up to tackle install! Let’s run into each other again on purpose soon =)
What a great trip! It was fun to follow along on social media. My family is always wanting me to move back to Indy so maybe I’ll just go work for Delta. It sounds like such a great place!
I know you gals all had tons of fun. Dare I ask if you got a new faucet out of this?? I admit to wanting that toilet you and Carrie installed. And I love all the faucets, especially the champagne bronze one.
not going to lie, i am jealous of this for so many reasons! I didn’t know delta had their headquarters in Indy (which is so close to me!) and you got to hang out with fun bloggers and eat a bunch of yummy food on top of it! So fun!! Good for you!
Looks like y’all had so much fun, and I’m so impressed with the looks of some of those products! After trying almost every brand, I’m hooked on Delta from now on!
Looks like such a fun experience! I’ve been trying to find a dealer in our area that has the bronze and/or matte black finish to see if it would be a good fit for our kitchen. It seems like they just have the standard chrome and stainless always on display. 🙁 Thanks for posting your favourites – gives me some more inspiration. 🙂
Oh my gosh – I loved reading this and reliving it all! Such a great trip. Your photos are wonderful, so wish I had brought my camera! Oh, and, WOW, am I most the photogenic person you have ever seen or what?! 😉 And thank you for not mentioning the near-blinding incident!!! So glad I did not ACTUALLY handicap you.
How fun! I love Delta’s Brizo line. We’ve been thinking about upgrading our faucets to matte black ones but I haven’t found any as beautiful as theirs!
Julia, you are too funny, I can’t believe that happened to you on the way home! Ha! This trip really does sound interesting and fun – what a cool experience that is was hands-on and you learned some mad new DIY skills.

What a trip! That’s really cool that you loved their products. I can’t wait to check them out… and I’m dying over the wheelchair. Lol.
