Hello, I’m back from Avalon NJ and I feel like a french fry! And that is because we love the beach too much and get fried in return. I did learn my lesson and apply sun screen like a crazy person.

I promised some shots of the great Avalon/Stone Harbor homes but I only have a couple. One of the problems was that almost all of the houses in Avalon and Stone Harbor look beautiful. You just can’t make up your mind which ones are the nicest. And the other problem is that we were glued to the sand 24/7.

Their 4th of July festivities are beautiful and there is nothing like sitting on the beach with an adult beverage, ocean breeze and white sand between your toes while watching the fireworks. The kids were floored.

The wealth on that part of the Jersey Shore is stunning. I feel like an imposture every time we visit.
I’m not a doctor, business mogul, CEO or trophy wife (that would be kind of nice). And I don’t drive a huge Mercedes, BMW, Audi or Lexus.

We did meet some great people that we spent time on the beach with.

And nope, the cuckoo clock did not get painted. Haha, I had good intentions though.
I will try my best to get something creative done before we go to Germany.
