The Best Little Cat House in PA
Ok, today I’m sharing something a little different because I came across this nonprofit organization while waiting at the vet to pick up our Willy from his neutering appointment yesterday.

The Best Little Cat House in PA is one of the nation’s longest established organizations providing hospice care for cats and located northeast of Harrisburg. They care for a variety of terminally ill and old cats and I think it’s the most special thing to do. They are all cats who would otherwise get euthanized.
Lynn Stitt and her volunteers have run this non-profit shelter already for 30 years. I’m not sure why I hadn’t heard of it before.
Check out their photo gallery HERE. These two guys warm my heart. They look so rough and old. I’m glad they have a nice catio and care they need to live out their remaining life as a cat should.

That’s it for today and have a wonderful weekend.
Tschüß,
aaaaw, if we didn’t have allergies i am sure we would have a cat in our home, too!
What a wonderful organization! It’s great that there are passionate people who take care of cats that otherwise would get put to sleep. Working there can’t be easy and I have a lot of respect for the staff.
I hope sweet Willy will recover fast from the surgery. A few weeks ago three of our four kittens died of a virus or something. I’m sure you can imagine how devastating that was. I miss them so much.
Animals/pets are such a gift. I consider them furry angels. You are a special woman for caring so much and opening your heart to them. Xo
What a great place! Love the old guys hanging out on their catio 🙂
