Etsy Abstract Art
Another Friday has crept up on me way too fast again. I don’t even know where to start. There is so much going on for me.
A couple of weeks ago I started to feel strange because I kept having swooshing sounds in my ear. Like I could hear my heart beat and blood swooshing around. I have been dizzy, pressure in my head and just all over not feeling well.
I finally decided to go to the doctor who told me I had fluids in my ear and that I should take allergy meds. I went home tried allergy medication and then thought about the fact that they didn’t help, I could breath fine and that it didn’t feel like the past times I had water in my ear.
So I decided to go to an ear specialist who told me there was no fluids in my ear at all which he backed up with some tests. He then diagnosed me with pulsatile tinnitus. He ordered all kinds of test especially since my mom has carotid stenosis and brain aneurism which can be the cause for a pulsatile tinnitus. But the list can go on and on. I told him that I didn’t want to hear the list because it scared me and that I only wanted to do the tests and if he can help me.
It could have to do with pre menopause which now is what I’m hoping for.
It just really stinks having to deal with this 24/7. You can’t pretend it’s not there because you feel so uncomfortable and it’s constantly on your mind. Exercising is uncomfortable and so is pretty much everything else. Especially if you are dizzy. do you have any experience with this?
I will see the doctor again on October 2nd with the results from the tests and hoping for the best.
So I will try my best not to do that!

And on a lighter note I helped a friend pick some art and I came across some of my favorite shops again and their new art. I also discovered some new ones.
I would hang every single one of them in my home and most of them are available as a giclee art prints. Aren’t they lovely.

Tschüß,
Praying that it is pre menopause Julia. Only can imagine how difficult it is with that condition.
Thanks Kathleen, it’s so hard not to think and worry about something that is constantly there and making you feel uncomfortable.
Also consider a Chiropractic adjustment, there are several things they can do to help ear problems. My Mom had some issues and it was resolved in three visits.
Oh yeah, that’s a good point. I was thinking about that yesterday.
I’m a little scared of the chiropractor because the last time he adjusted my neck a couple of years ago I couldn’t see right for about two hours. It scared me to death.
I am always so amazed at the beautiful art on easy – I can spend hours perusing different sites. Wishing you a happy, worry free weekend and perfect test results!
oooh i really love that first one in the blue swirls!
Hi Julia, Sorry for what you are dealing with. I too have had that experience when I wake up and sit up. I can hear a swishing sound, and it goes away when I start to walk. I do not have it all the time, just occasionally. I have had severe vertigo off and on for a few years, so I think it may be connected to that . I take medicine for the vertigo, and do exercises. I still hear a popping sound in my ear sometimes, but my vertigo has subsided. Hope you find out what is causing it. Sometimes things just go away on their own, but it is good to have it checked out. Acupuncture may help.
I hope it clears up soon! I’m really loving 7 and 8!
Ugh–I’m sorry about your ear; that sounds awful! Ari has tinnitus, but it’s a ringing kind of thing not a swooshing, and it only happens occasionally. Hope you get some good answers soon!
I know there are naturel remedies for tinnitus but I don’t remember what they are. I would find a homeopath or a Neuro Emotional Therapist if it were me. Dr. are great for putting back together a broken arm but as soon as we are talking inner workings they usually suck. They are sometimes good at finding a diagnosis but I wouldn’t use them for treatment. I hope you get good news. Hugs!
