Friday Favorites: Our New Cat Cave
When we recently adopted Anthony (click HERE for his story if you missed it), the wonderful company Tuft + Paw sent me a welcome home present for him which happens to be a pretty little cat cave. You know how much cats like to hides in boxes and bags and this new cat bed fits within that cat desire and also looks very pretty.

The cave is handmade from 100% wool and has a cozy sleeping pad in the inside. I had so much fun photographing the kitties interacting with it.
Since Anthony is still struggling with fear and anxiety he isn’t really interested in testing out new pet beds yet but Willy and Maya were very happy to take over and do it for him. I think it’s safe to say that they claimed the little cave
Look how pretty it looks in our living room. I’ve also already placed it on the bottom shelf of the coffee table or on the sofa but they prefer it on the ground because they have developed a little cave conquering game.
Let me tell you about their game. One of them will crawl in the cave and the other one is trying to get the cave dweller out with all kinds of funny methods.
Staring contests, clawing and rotating the cave…
…but their favorite thing to do is sit on it while the other cat is inside. Cracks me up. See Willy’s tail sticking out?
Yup he’s still in there.
And he’s treating it like his castle.

Everything is so beautiful. I had a cat who played that way, he would hold the rug over the other ones, until we stopped him. Your cats are beautiful. I have three of them, similar to yours.

I’m not sure what you mean with separate my cat posts from my decor posts.
I do have the option to sign up on my email list for different sections like cats, home decor, travel or all of it so everyone gets the emails as specific as they want.

Wow – the outdoor cat area is quite impressive. What lucky kitties to have that – and you to provide a safe outdoor environment for them.

We recently rescued a kitten from a campground where he lived right between the riding lawn mowers and golf carts! Walli is now 3 months old, feisty and adorable as can be and helping us get over the loss of our beloved black lab mix. I’ve been looking at those cat caves and think a certain little furry dude might get one for Christmas! Your kitties are so adorable and clearly have the best life!
That is the most adorable thing! I would have a million cats if my husband would let me, but im happy with one for now. My sweet lily reminds me alot of your black and white angel, keep up the cute posting 🙂
