Mint, gold and pink nursery
What a weekend my friends! I’ve had enough of sitting on the bleachers and all to wait and see my son wrestle for a couple of minutes or to see him have a forfeit. Geesh, that really is the downside to wrestling…all the sitting and waiting.
We finished off the weekend with some kiddo sleepovers since they don’t have school today for Martin Luther King Day. They we of course really happy about that.
Anyways, today I want to share a nursery with you. One of my Etsy shop’s costumers who bought my gold dots sent me some photos and I thought they were the BEST.
This is what she said:
“We painted the walls a mint color and applied your gold wall decals using a laser level to help get them even. I hand made the baby mobile and garland that hangs above the crib. I sewed the blanket in the crib shots. Then we spray painted the curtain rods gold to match the decals. Next I bought some embroidery hoops and sprayed them in the same gold and filled them with fabrics, some of which I hand embroidered on. All that’s left to do is add a dresser which will be painted in an ombre effect in coral tones and my husband is planning on building a reading nook hideout in the corner. I’ll send pics when we finally get everything complete! ”
She promised some final photos and I can’t wait to see them. Isn’t it cute? I really really love it! And I’m so happy that she gave me permission to share the photos with you guys.
On another note I just added copper wall vinyl to the shop. It looks more gold in this iPhone photo but it really isn’t! Copper it is:

Adorable nursery!
I just wanted to thank you for posting this. I have the same color painted on the walls in my bedroom with natural wood trim and wood floors just like this nursery and it’s great to see how someone else accessorized and used color to punch up the combo a little bit!
Glad you like it 😉 she did an awesome job!
what an adorable nursery! thanks so much for sharing!
Oh what a beautiful room! So very stylish and so very chic. I love copper too and someday hope to get those from you.
LOVE this nursery! Did she use the 3in or 1.5 in? I’m not sure which ones to purchase. Awesome job!
She used the 3 inch dots Karen, I like them much better myself since they make a bigger statement. The smaller ones are really cool for a dresser though which is on a smaller scale.
