Etsy Halloween costumes
On Monday I shared my daughter’s costume for this year and I thought to myself that not everyone loves to DIY or faceprint the way I do. And since I love Etsy and come across handmade costume items, I thought I’d round up some affordable pieces for you.
There are so many great simple handmade Halloween costumes ideas:

This first shop HERE is one of my favorites. They have options that would look great on an adult too. You have to check them all out.
This swan mask would look so sweet on a little girl in a tutu s well as a teenager or adult.
They have such great options for boys too. Check them out HERE.
This next shop has felt headbands instead of masks which are just as sweet. Who wouldn’t love a little unicorn? (HERE)
My son and I were totally amazed at the paper craft masks available in the next shop (click HERE)
I can see teenagers or adults loving putting this together. they look cool just with normal outfits.
And best of all you can download the pattern and make more than one.
I’ve always had a thing for Indians and their history and dressed up as them for the German equivalent frequently as a kid. The following shop sells really affordable headdresses. I would have loved to had one as a kid to dress up with.
And cute little babies dressed up are always my favorite. How about a little gnome? (HERE)
Adorable little bat wings (HERE)
Or these cute little old ladies. They crack me up! (HERE)
And let’s not forget about the furry kids. I was about dying laughing when I saw this little lion. And it looks just as adorable on a little dog. They have so many more costumes in their shop for pets (HERE). I bought it for our orange tabby Maya.
I’m in love with this little dragon too (HERE)
And of course, I have to throw something a little creepy into the mix for adults. This mask with a simple black outfit would look great and wouldn’t involve a lot of effort. (HERE)
And you can buy full-blown amazing detail-oriented costumes as well but they are so pricey. I mean who on earth spends $400-$500 on a costume??? I can see that they require a huge amount of time involved and you have to pay for that. They certainly are amazing. I just had to share (HERE). All her costumes are jaw-dropping:
And then there are some where you have to pay $1300, wait say what??? (HERE if you want to be in disbelieve 😉
Can you believe that our town decided to cancel trick-or-treat night because of all the horrible clowns I mentioned? Now what? This is going to leave a lot of kids heartbroken in our town. But we aren’t going to let that ruin our fun. I’m sure we can come up with something.
And of course, have a wonderful weekend.

love these picks- that swan mask and unicorn topper are awesome! you have a freudian slip in there, too- in stead of “of course i have to throw in something creepy” you said, “of crows i have to…” ha! made me giggle!
Auto correct!!!! Drives me crazy! Thanks for pointing it out!
The baby old ladies have made my day. I’m still wiping away tears of laughter. I have had such a crappy week at work and to be able to outright laugh has helped take away some of the frustration and anger. I know that isn’t what this post was about, but thanks so much anyway.
I’m so glad and it’s actually exactly what this post is about. They made me laugh too. So cute and funny.
That cat is adorable!
Right? I love it
These are great! I’m trying to imagine trying to get either of my cats to wear that lion costume now…. 🙂
That mask is fabulous! Love all of them!
Oh my goodness, the little old lady babies and the lion cat are just too much!! Love them!
Right? Those little old ladies are the best.
