Pink, Orange and Gold Box Makeover

I have a little DIY to share with you today. If you follow me on Instagram then you have seen a little sneak peak. But it all started with this box that I have sitting under my coffee table. It houses all our remotes. It was still pretty, don’t get me wrong but it started to scream “boring”.

See it sitting under the table? I’m sure you never even really noticed it! Am I right?

Well I’m sure you’ll notice it now, because I gave it a little makeover.
I have been drawn to colors that I would wear more and more and the color combo that I used for the box is just one of those things.

First I removed the hardware and of course spray painted it gold, couldn’t help myself!!!

Then I taped the top off and spray painted it with Valspar’s Frosty Berry (pink). After that I spray painted the bottom with Rustoleum’s Gloss Protective Enamel Orange.

And this is what the box looks like now. I can’t stop looking at it to be honest.

That colorful box looks absolutely perfect in your living room. (Magazine worthy space.) Love the fun pop of color and of course the gold “jewelry” knob. So stylish!

Agree that the box was looking pretty in grey but looks so much better in pink, orange and GOLD! 🙂 I really love it! 🙂 oh! gold spray paint, someone has to stop me from using it everywhere over here! 🙂

And the remote box is a wallflower no more! Love it! I’ve never seen your sofa up close…it’s gorgeous! And, those furry stools are intriguing. I have some Ikea sheepskins that I’ve thought about using to recover a couple of my stools. Love yours!

I love the pink and orange together and if I had a little girl…this is definitely the color scheme I would do for her room. The box looks great and it is so those colors done right. But, I have to tell you again how much I love your new DIY striped artwork…I couldn’t take my eyes off them in your pics! LOVE. 😉
