Shopping for affordable inspiration
I feel like it is time for a shopping post again since I came across some really cool things will browsing and working on some ideas.
I did buy this little Kilim rug and hope I can get some great color inspiration from it. I’m still waiting for it though.
I’m working on some ideas for a makeover and I think this might just be the right little piece! I’m not telling more yet though, sorry 😉
And I have been eyeing up this great sofa. While I don’t need one for our living room, we could use one in our basement. Isn’t it pretty? And it is from a store where you usually don’t look for these types of sofas. It is from American Signature Furniture and only costs $749.99 for the two seater and $799.99 for the three seater. That’s a really great price isn’t it?
Just compare it to the collection at Pottery Barn (click HERE) which can cost you anywhere from $1,999 – $3,299. Big difference and the look is very similar.
I adore this copper planter and it would look just as nice in a kitchen with fruit in it. $12 is super affordable (click HERE):

The colors are fabulous and I can imagine it so well on the above couch, just wish it was a little cheaper.
And last but not least I have been thinking about buying these H&M pillow covers (click HERE) because I love the black and white pattern:
I could write these type of shopping posts all the time because I see so many pretty things everywhere and I can’t buy it all.
I guess I appear to be heading in the bohemian direction for spring. Lets see!

I have been sourcing tons of chesterfield sofas for a client but I never saw that one. Its really pretty and I LOVE that H&M pillow!

Loved the sofa so much that we went to go look at one at American Signature tonight. It’s beautiful, but the back was low and not the most comfortable. But there’s no denying how attractive it is. It’s a shame we have to choose between comfort and aesthetics! I hate adult decisions…
I hear you with the adult decisions. I hate being a grown up most of the time and how it used to be when you can just go with the flow when you are a teenager 😉

Absolutely love the sofa! But I have sworn to myself that the next sofa that comes into my house will have slip covers! I live with all men and they are messy dudes. I have been telling my oldest for 18 years(!!!) that shoes don’t belong on the furniture:( Any reasonably priced suggestions for slip covered sofas other than IKEA?
No suggestions on slipcovers. I have been buying leather for that exact reason. It’s wipeable 😉
