cut the chopstick to the desired length

loop macrame yarn onto chopsticks with Diagonal Half Hitch Knots

loop 6 pieces of yarn onto the chopstick that way

now create the heart shape with Diagonal Double Half Hitch Knots

the center of the heart is filled with Square Knots

finish the heart shape with Diagonal Double Half Hitch Knots

Open the fringe, comb it, and trim it. You can also add some fabric stiffener to the trim
