Sugar Skull Costume DIY

I came up with this affordable and easy sugar skull costume DIY.

– face paint  – face paint brushes or makeup brushes – piece of black lace  – a headband  – bouquet of faux roses  – hot glue gun  – simple black dress

I started by detaching the faux roses from the bouquet. You can either use scissors or just your hands.

Take the headband and lay out your lace piece over the headband.

Attached the roses the same way with hot glue.

For the sugar skull face paint, start out by painting the entire face white and then letting that dry completely.

Next step is painting blue big circles around the eyes . After I placed pink small dots around the large blue eye circles.

Lastly you need to take a fine brush with black face paint to add all the extra black sugar skull details on the forehead, eyes, nose cheeks and mouth.
