  1. Woohoo!!! I sent you an email already – no one else is getting their hands on my amazing new zebra best friend! 😉

  2. Is it just me or does the wall with the plates look grey in the first photo and then darker (taupe) in the 2nd? Is this something you’ve done on purpose? Just curious! 🙂

    1. LOL, nope it’s not just you. The wall is actually Ralph Lauren silver. And with the lighting and depending on where you stand it looks different.

    1. Thanks Erin. I adore them, I think my neighbors don’t get it though because they didn’t say much this weekend LOL. But I don’t care!

  3. Congrats to the 2 winners 🙂
I like Karl the way he is and I think you should leave him as is! no painting necessary! 😉
love your plates very much! 🙂
Happy Labor day to you too Julia!

    1. Oh, like I said, I’m not going to paint him. I totally love him just the way he is.

  4. I love the closeup of Karl! Those plates are adorable.

    1. Thanks Sara. Karl is awesome and sometimes gets missed in the corner up there 😉

  5. Where oh where did you get those chevron kitchen towels?!?! I’m dying over those right now!!

  6. Hi Julia, I came over from YHL and the fell down the rabbit hole of your wonderful blog. I really enjoy your flair. Your DIY plates are really high end looking. What about mixing in some cut glass plates along with colored ones? It would draw in the chandelier’s sparkle. I’d take the arrangement all the down to the floor, too. Looking forward to seeing what figure out!

    1. Hi, cut glass plates are gorgeous and I love them. The only thing is that you end up seeing the hooks when 🙁 let’s see what I can find, because I think I want to find some thrifted plates.

  7. I’m normally not a big fan of plate walls but I’m dying over yours. You totally have an eye for quirk and you make it look totally normal. Drooling.
