  1. we used benjamin moore’s bath paint in flat finish in our last house- in a dark color, blue danube. it never streaked and was a very small space with no window- the paint always looked great. 🙂

    1. I second Cassie’s comment. We used Benjamin Moore Aura spa paint and I have two boys that splash a lot! No streaks several years later. Use a good paint and you’ll be fine.

  2. I love the ceiling to floor curtain but that shower looks too much like a gym shower.

  3. I think you are definitely on to something here. I love all your inspiration. When I look at your bathroom, I see a lot of red tone in the wall color and a bit in the shower curtain. I bet with even just a new wall color you would see the tile in a whole new light. I have found that with my yellow tile that I am not a big fan of, but with the yellow walls they just looked worse.

  4. I adore that last kitchen.

I can’t wait to see your bathroom – I have nothing to add because I’m lame, but I know it’ll be fabulous.

  5. I think adding black and white is a great idea! You can definitely make the tiles work! Also my mother in law used a special paint for tile on her kitchen backsplash and she said it worked great. Not sure how it would hold up on flooring, but that might be an option for the beige tiles too.

  6. I’m loving the inspiration for the bath. I really do like the floors you have already.
