The Southern Living Idea House 2017 is located on Bald Head Island NC with inspiration from the surroundings, eye-catching colors, and an open floor plan with eclectic decor.

The covered back deck

The house has a beautiful large back deck with seating and dining area and even an outdoor kitchen.

Kitchen pass through window

My favorite part is the outdoor bar with large accordion style window leading to the kitchen

Large open kitchen

The cream-colored kitchen has a large custom island with counter stools and vaulted ceiling.

Dining and living area

The dining room and living room and all located in a large open room that also includes the kitchen.

Master bedrrom

The soothing blue walls are a perfect backdrop for the stunning bamboo bed and Tilda chandelier.

Master bathroom

The bathroom features stunning printed tiles and also leads to a second outside shower.

Second master bedroom

This is another beautiful bedroom featuring a stunning natural seagrass rope canopy bed and rattan accents.
