  1. Your house looks incredible as always , Julia. I am obsessed with your dishwasher makeover and that fabulous pampas christmas tree. You are a genius!

    1. Thanks Erica! I’ve been kind of out of control with the grasses 😉 I can’t drive anywhere anymore without searching the side of the road for different grasses now. I need a bumper sticker that says “I break for pampas grass” LOL. Can’t wait to see your home.

  2. Hi Julia, what a beautiful Christmas home tour! I love seeing all your DIYs and German decorations. I’ve been living in Germany for the last 21 years and always enjoy a German Christmas the most. All my husband had to do to convince me to move here from London was to describe a traditional German Christmas and I was already packing my bags!!! 😉

    1. Thanks Jayne, yes traditional German Christmas is the best. I was so thrilled that the Christkindl markets were open earlier this year when I visited my family early November. Merry Christmas

  3. I love your kitchen, and I love all the DIY projects you’ve added over the years. Those snowflakes are so pretty and your dining area always looks so inviting, Love that settee you use too. Thanks for adding peaks into the other rooms in your home that are so beautifully decorated. I am drooling over those shaved Christmas trees too as well as all your amazing macrame. Thanks so much for joining the tours again this season.

    1. Thanks so much Marty, so happy to be part of the tours again.

  4. I just LOVE your home Julia and everything looks even more beautiful all decked out for the holidays! The paper bag snowflakes are such a fun and cozy touch and that pampas tree is just incredible!!! Merry Christmas!

    1. Thank you so much Kristi. Best thing about the grass trees and paper snowflakes is that I can just throw it all in the fire pit after Christmas and I don’t need to store away ornaments LOL. Merry Christmas!

  5. Everything about your home is divine, Julia!

Julia, You’ve created a beautiful Christmas wonderland!!! Thank you for sharing with all of us! Merry Christmas!!!

  7. Wow, so many good ideas! We have a tuxedo cat that looks a lot like yours. We also have a grey and white tuxedo cat and four others, lol! They would all love the hanging macrame bed, I’m sure.
I think purple velvet curtains would look so pretty in your dining room and would contrast with your cabinets and also bring out the purple in the picture above your table. I agree that it may be time to change out your light fixture over your table before someone loses an eye!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

  8. Your home truly delights my heart! I absolutely adore the festive valance of paper snowflakes that you created. Merry Christmas!

    1. Thanks so much Laura and Merry Christmas to you too.

  9. I was so stocked when I saw the dishwasher makeover while strolling Pinterest the other day. It’s just awesome, love the wooden handle!
Hey, I prefer the old utensil holder, the one with the blue designs.
I love touring your home, taking a closer look at all the creative projects you always have in store. I need to craft some of those paper stars.
    Merry Christmas!

    1. Thanks Cristina, yes the other one is nicer it doesn’t hold as many utensils though 🙁 And Merry Christmas to you too.

  10. Hi Julia! Love your home. The trees are so beautiful. I love the dried floral one. Happy to join the tour this year.

  13. Where do I start?! Everything is peaceful yet so festive. I love the colors, your German pieces, the tree decor – everything! I bet walking in these rooms each day gives you the warmest cozy feeling. And you have so many fun spots to hang out! So glad you shared all of this with us. And I totally love that disco ball under your table. 😉 Enjoyed hopping with you this week and btw, love the name of your blog. So fun! Merry Christmas

    1. Julia,
You are quite the artist. Wondering do you have an etsy account or ever sell your work?
So happy to find you again, I subscribed for years , your acct went away. Just found you again today. Merry Christmas
      Karen

      1. Oh thanks Karen, that’s so odd that my account went away. I do have an Etsy shop but only sell downloadable files at the moment. Happy Holidays!
