I love it Julia (including the gold glittery accents to your blog). Boy, you sure have been working your tushie off! I am inspired to give my daughter her queen size bed back. You can’t really snuggle in a loft bed. Good work!!!

  17. Julia, your daughter’s big headboard is gorgeous and I agree with her that keeping it this big is better and how fun that you guys have weekend sleepovers (you are right they grow up so fast) 🙂
& loving her pretty chandelier; too pretty and feminine
I’m loving everything about her room 🙂

Your new header and sparkly buttons are so pretty! I love that headboard! Did you make it or just add the nailhead trim to a pre-purchased headboard? I don’t think I’d have the patience for either so bravo to you! 🙂

Gorgeous headboard! No wonder your daughter forbid you to shorten it. (It’s truly a princess bed.) Great color choices, too. Love the Schumacher. I have my eye on a Scalamandre zebra fabric. (I just don’t know why the designer fabrics are so pricey!)

  27. It is so beautiful! I am really impressed and I love that pop of color! Amazing job, Julia!
