Artisans from around the world
Tis the season for gift giving and nope this isn’t a sponsored post, just something that I felt was worth sharing with you guys. You already know I love shopping Etsy because of the small businesses and craftsmanship associated with it, right? But sometimes we should possibly support great things from more remote areas in this world, right?
And there is a company who does just that and connects us to those amazing goods from around the world. It’s called GlobeIn (you can read their mission statement and manifesto by clicking HERE). Either treat yourself or someone else by subscribing to their monthly boxes that come filled with unique crafted items from around the world and were fairly traded to support remote artisans.
My bedroom basket was filled with a vase, a shea butter, sea horse pillow pet (handmade by female artisans in Guatemala). I will actually use the basket as a flower pot which I think will look lovely.
The coupon saves you 25% off their first month’s box with a purchase of 3 and 6 month subscriptions. I think it’s a pretty unique gift to give to someone special.Just thought you guys might like this.Talk to you on Wednesday with an update about our Monkey kitty.
