Hmmm I’m sure you are wondering what the heck this post is about am I right? I was thinking the other day that it is about time I’d update y’all on my cats since I do somewhat live pretty with them as well for the most part.
Yes how self-absorbed of me to include myself and cats in my pet series, isn’t it? I’m just going to roll with it. Doesn’t my 20 year old Heidi look super thrilled up there to be taking pictures with me?
The living pretty part does get though sometimes, I do have to admit to that. I do have a pretty good plan when it comes to cleaning after the cats and the kids and you can click HERE to read my cleaning tips but one thing is really hard on me lately. What’s that? Well our former porch kitty Monkey (click HERE) who is the only one who can still go outside and beyond the cat enclosure with the help of our fabulous electronic cat door (click HERE), brings me yucky presents from time to time especially when I get stressed out. Recently just after Easter she gifted me 2 dead baby bunnies and decided to take it apart on my carpet. Very sad and not so pretty.
That really increased my desire to spy on my kitties, not only for the above mentioned reason but also to keep them safe. I’m always scared that someone would throw something poisoned in their enclosure or our yard or try to shoot them with a pellet gun. Well watch out now because I might have you on camera.
I was lucky enough to receive a Wifi camera from Neposmart and I have been on the search for quite some time.
That little gadget can do numerous things. My favorite features are that you can talk to your pets or even kids through the camera from your smart phone (Android and iPhone), you could control your garage door with it, you can rotate it from your phone, you can have it motion activated, it can take snap shots and you can store it all on a little memory card (not included). You know what the best thing is to me? It doesn’t need any subscription or monthly payments like so many other similar security cameras require. It’s a major plus to me.
Or spy on Monkey and the electronic cat door:
Or I have to get some more cameras for all those spots because you can add numerous cameras to your app. Don’t have a smart phone? Well you can also use them on your computer desktop.
On another note, I have to say that I never noticed what I was asking of my series participants when I asked them for a photo of them with their pets. Geesh that’s a difficult one. It was quite amusing and if you want a good laugh you can scroll all the way past my signature at the bottom to see the results.
I can’t end the post without Lucy though who is about 16 years old now and clearly she still looks gorgeous. She’s the tiniest, loudest and has the biggest personality?
The rip/tear in her ear is from fighting our (now deceased) male Maine Coon Harry. Lucy doesn’t kid around. She’s got her own opinion.
It’s still baffling to me how someone could dump any of these beautiful little creatures and not want them. They make me so happy even though the “living pretty part” is hard sometimes, don’t you agree?
Good luck with the giveaway, I’m sure you’d love the camera as much as I do.
OH AND ONE MORE THING: My computer died and is being repaired during the next 5 days which forces me on a little break. So if I’m silent for the most part, then you know the reason. Such a bummer.
Tschüß and have a great weekend. And don’t forget that there are pictures to laugh at if you scroll down.
I was provided with the camera but did not get compensation for this post. All opinions are 100% my own. I always only share things with you that I truly love.
