  1. Your dresser is fabulous!!!!! I can see why your daughter is bummed, not sure I could part with it either. (Ps. I’m a relatively new follower via Sarah M Dorsey Designs – your blog is one of my new favorite stops each day!) Thanks for all the great inspiration!

  2. WOW! I LOVE how you transformed this dresser, it’s gorgeous. I love the different pinks & orange, it’s beautiful how well you made them blend together Julia! & the gold around the hardware it’s a great touch too! hey, I would love to keep it for me too! 🙂 & now I want one of those sprayers (maybe a Christmas gift for myself) 🙂

  3. Super cute, I am a big fan of spray paint but always feel limited my the colors available, this looks like it might be a good alternative. How difficult is the clean up?

    1. Clean up wasn’t bad, especially since I didn’t use oil based paint and was able to clean up with water.

  4. Love the transformation! I speak from experience on that spray gun…oil based is a royal pain…I would never do that again! Also, the pic with the brush (I’m totally getting that brush!) you have the gold inside piece on. Mine comes off to wash, does yours? Anyways, love the dresser and the knobs.

There are a lot of spray guns out there. I have nothing to compare this one too besides my heavy duty and scary air compressor gun. They both work great but this one is less scary!

Julia this dresser is darling!!! I love it! The washers behind the knobs are genius. What a cute look. Seriously, I am DYING to get my hands on a paint sprayer. I’m glad you showed the cleaning process. That is one of the things that has kind of scared me about getting one. I’m happy that it wasn’t so bad. “Dear Santa… I NEED A PAINT SPRAYER!”

  24. I LOVE that dresser! So pretty and a great way to use up leftover paints! I am definitely looking into the sprayer but here in Toronto, it will be a few months until I can use it. Maybe Santa will bring me one! 😉

  28. Oh my that is so pretty Julia! I have one of those sprayers I LOVE it! Although, I get way more paint on my nozzle than you do lol Such a great idea to use the washers with rub n buff. Smart cookie you are!

  29. Oh it is so gorgeous! But then everything you paint, you do a fabulous finish. The colors are wonderful And for the very first time, you used something (the washers behind the knobs) that I have done also….. finally I had a good idea …… grinning. And I am with you, what in the world did someone do to this furniture is … well, it makes me think they are raising uncontrolled, unruly children that will grow up and be let loose in our world. lol.

  30. Love the mix of colors used! Can you share what the names of the paint are? Sorry if you already shared and I missed it somewhere! Thanks!

    1. Hi Jessica, I’m so sorry that I don’t have the exact names. It was leftover spray paint that I had left in the garage and I threw the cans out. So sorry

  31. So awesome Julia! I loooove the transformation. The pink and orange is sooo right up your alley. I’ve been wanting to try the sprayer for months now. I’m curious as to how it’ll work with oil based paint.
